The anime "Moomin" was first broadcast in Japan in 1969. In 1978, a puppet animation was made in Poland, and in 1990, "Tanoshii Moomin Ikka" (Fun Moomin Family) began again in Japan. This work, supervised by Tove Jansson herself, was repeatedly broadcast in about 60 countries around the world and became a big boom.
